The Marina In Valencia
Whilst looking for your villas to buy in Valencia, make sure you allow time to visit the marina just outside the city centre. Having being totally reformed in 2007 for the America´s Cup it is now oferring commercial spaces in a bid to attract new businesses to this unique area of Valencia. The marina also offers more of what you might expect to find like the Valencia sailing center, flyboarding school and many more nautical sports.
During the day you can leisurely stroll around the marina, with panoramic views out across the sea towards the city of Arts and Sciences. Note: make sure you explore the most exclusive area of the marina, the ‘T-Dock’, especially designed to home 42 super yachts, ranging from lengths of 25 to 150 metres.
By night, the terraces at Cabañal Malvarrosa are a great place to start off your weekend, with rows of cocktail bars offering trendy seating areas overlooking the marina. It really is the place to be seen. If you´re still awake at 3.00am why not sample one of the trendiest nightspots in the city, ‘Las Animas Puerto’, the favourite nightclub of Valencia´s rich and famous!
Next door, you will find Malvorrosa beach, which is a wide, sandy beach, easily accessible and home to many great bars and restaurants, it is a very bustling place throughout the whole year. With its vast selection of restaurants it is appealing to both tourists and Spanish locals alike.
By day most of them serve paellas and specialise in the local seafood. Top tip: try visiting some of the restaurants that are tucked away just behind the beach front where you can order a traditional Spanish paella, away from the crowds.
By day or by night the marina in Valencia has something for everyone!
